Barker Publishing House was founded in 2018 with one frustration in mind. Talented authors were pouring years into their manuscripts, then watching them sink because the cover looked cheap, the formatting was clumsy, or the editing was uneven. The writing was never the problem. The presentation was.
So we built a publishing house that handles the part of publishing that decides whether a book gets taken seriously. We keep it simple, we keep it fast, and we keep the prices in plain sight.
